Glad you liked it, ndouglas. I used my Nikon D500, 500 5.6 PF with the TC-14E III. I edit all my photos in Lightroom as i always shot in RAW format.
I just realized we're not in the Summer now.

I was just with some family spending the weekend along the Mississippi. Across the street from the house, along the river, there was a big, dead tree, which hosted some big turkey vultures, and an adult and juvenile bald eagle.
So beautiful! Thanks for sharing. Maybe we should make a new thread… any ideas for a good title? “pics for bird lovers who are apple fans too”? … seems too wordy. 😏

What I didn't know at the time is that there was an eagle watching the catch that swooped in to steal the fish from the osprey. During the brief aerial challenge the fish was dropped and both went hungry. I wish I had known to anticipate the attempted theft but wasn't aware an eagle was waiting for a cheap meal. Thanks.
Great shots of both the osprey and the eagle! Not easy to capture, as these guys move pretty fast! Where were these taken?
