Black iMac - take a look...

Seeing the mockup, and after seeing the black MBs, I think that it's "ok" in black, but I don't find it much more attractive than white. Aluminum would be the thing that blows it out of the water.

I had a free hour today so I decided to make a quick mock up of how the iMac would look in aluminum.
Here it is:

I think the black is pretty rockin, however, if it is $150 more, I'll go with a white one, thank you.
As for a white keyboard and mouse, you could always get an after market keyboard and mouse that are black. Although, with this route, it would get rather pricey to find a BT keyboard and mouse in black.

Still think it's going to look kind of like the iPhone. Black doesn't look too great with the current iMac casing, it'll need some kind of REAL redesign.
I still prefer a white iMac, although the black is pretty nice. The Aluminum is looks much better than I would have expected. Excellent Work.
I think black will look cool. However with all the rumours of mac lineup changes, I wonder if Apple is going to throw intergrated graphics in the imac and then offer a tower in the mid range. Just a thought.
I doubt this would happen.
But if it did, I'd be glad I bought my iMac when I did instead of waiting for "Leopard in March" and then some. Right.
The low-end iMac currently has integrated graphics, that's what Intel GMA950 is.
