Ive been thinking about selling my MBP (even though I LOVE it) And using the money I make, along with my own money, to get an older black mb (for word and web browsing purposes in classes) and building a PC for my gaming purposes. But, that's still a while off, so maybe the day will never come. We shall see.

It was a bum machine. That's why Apple replaced it. Never said they were all like that, just that the unibody is much better.

I have the 2.4 Penryn black Macbook and have had none of those problems. Mine still looks like it did when it came out of the box. Of course, I clean it once a week with Mr Clean Magic Eraser. It's been so much easier to keep looking nice than my iBook G4 was. I'll post a pic later. I love my black MacBook. I wish they would make them again.
Just put a black speck case on any macbook and macbook pro. Same thing!
Not at all. Not even close. You put one of those cases on and they look thick and clunky.
I'm using one. Doesn't feel thick and clunky at all. In fact, it's saved my MacBook Pro several times from dents.

Looks like a Dunlop-style trigger capo to me.
Ditto...I've had mine since March 2008, and it hasn't had any of those problems either. And I'm still on my original battery after almost 900 cycles!
I wish they would make them again as well...the white was just doesn't look as sweet.
