I never owned one. And wish I did. I love them.

That being said, for those of you that do or have, I wanna see pics of em! Please. :D

They are very nice. But sadly, they scratch easily, the matte black paint rubs off reveling the shiny black plastic, and they show lots of fingerprints. Even with all the listed unsightly things, I'm still very happy with mine.

Ive been thinking about selling my MBP (even though I LOVE it) And using the money I make, along with my own money, to get an older black mb (for word and web browsing purposes in classes) and building a PC for my gaming purposes. But, that's still a while off, so maybe the day will never come. We shall see.

I had one for a little while, kept needing repairs so Apple swapped it for a backlit keyboard unibody MacBook (not pro) a little while after they came out.

The unibody is a much better machine.

It was a bum machine. That's why Apple replaced it. Never said they were all like that, just that the unibody is much better.

Here's my Blackbook sometime last year shortly after it was fully cleaned. I'm thinking about getting a new topcase and battery for it.

I miss mine. :( I wish Apple made all their anodized aluminum stuff black. The silver can be boring sometimes.

I have the 2.4 Penryn black Macbook and have had none of those problems. Mine still looks like it did when it came out of the box. Of course, I clean it once a week with Mr Clean Magic Eraser. It's been so much easier to keep looking nice than my iBook G4 was. I'll post a pic later. I love my black MacBook. I wish they would make them again.

The Black Macbook was my very first Mac in April of 2008.... It will always have a special place in my heart.

If Apple ever releases a 15" aluminum black MBP I would be all over it.

Ditto...I've had mine since March 2008, and it hasn't had any of those problems either. And I'm still on my original battery after almost 900 cycles!

I wish they would make them again as well...the white was just doesn't look as sweet.
