basicly I see it as apple getting greeding and it is a low ball move by them.
they are charging more not because it cost them more to make black but because they know people will pay for it. Just put in line with apple history of charging a premium for apple computers. It easy way to make extra profet with out spending any extra cash.
As for the car color things. BS the standard 7-8 color on cars all cost the same just some times they carry more than others. And yes when we got my car we payed an extra 1k so it wasnt white. That 1k was because the red sentra had a 1k brake upgrade opition on it. My dad paid for the factor install opition on it because he knew i didnt really like white. So yeah people are willing to pay more for the color they want but they general like go get something extra when they do. I got a track ready car off the lot with the brake upgrade on it. (dont have antilocks but I have huge brakes on a Sentra Se-R Spec V that still all stock)
