White, by far.

I just went to BestBuy to check out the phone since I am on Verizon and wanted to compare the colors.

Originally, I had preordered the black because a few reviews said that it looked nice or even nicer than the white model.

However, when in the store the white looks quite a bit nicer. One of the reasons a lot of people get black is because they feel it makes the screen colors "pop" more or are more vivid. This may be true...but the black versions face has that glittery textured look.

Because the black version has this look and its much more noticeable than the white it is actually distracting and takes away from the screen. Especially in bright light or in the sun it would be even more distracting.

The white version also has a similar textured diamond face but it is much less noticeably glittery / shiny reflective front and back and looks better overall.

Can't wait!

I have the white S3. Never really liked the way all the sensors are visible against the white face of the phone (same as on the white iPhone), but really didn't like the pebble blue/purple of the only other color that was available when I purchased. I was jealous of the black S3s when they came out.

Presuming I purchase the S4 (somewhat undecided at this point as I'm leery of the battery life), it'll be the black one.

the white one is better, white is better at hiding scratches and finger prints. so, i brought the white 16GB GS4.

yeah...i bought the black one on launch day....wished I had gotten the white....it just looks better to me now...

I couldn't make up my mind between the black or white, I eventually chose the white because it shows fingerprints less and also because it was the only colour available in the shop. :)

Oddly enough my iPhones have always been white although black was the most popular. I now went black on the S4 because the white is more popular. :p
