Black Or White Macbook?

before the ibook, all of apple's notebooks were dark in color. the 520/540 "blackbird" notebooks started the black trend, and the color remained up through the powerbook g3. i don't think there's any one "pure apple" color.
both are beautiful
i bought the black one. it is purely a matter of taste. my nano is black and i just think the black gadgets look sleeker. i also think the contrast of the black case looks so much better when watching movies, etc. i'm so happy with my black macbook!

I have the black model, and I love it the most. I like the white too, especially the whole not-looking-like-I-eat-KFC-then-use-my-Blackbook, but I prefer the dark electronics.
I would agree if i was a retard!!!! The black macbook have a White apple on the back of the screen so theres no way in hell u'd mistaken it for anything!

I went to store this Monday to pick up a Black MacBook.
I left the store with White one and don't regret it.
All the cables coming FW, USB etc are white, my iPod white, MacBook seats under Apple Cinema monitor so white just makes sence to me.
Oh yeh I also forgot the little money difference...

Black - because you're worth it.
btw. I think the contrast of the white and the black actually works out quite well re: cables etc. I wouldn't have thought this before I bought my c2d blackbook.

I find it funny that many think the black looks like a PC when the white looks like a PC also. It's a personal computer! I've seen all white Averatecs so I can say the white looks too much like a PC, I want a Mac. Blah blah.
Don't base your decision from our opinions, choose what you like.
Having owned both I'm still feeling like I should have stuck with white but I'm very content with black. It's a matter of personal preference.
