$300 unlocked for the Z30 isn't too bad of a deal, really.

Trying to decide on a phone right now is difficult. At this rate, by the time I pick one, there will be a whole different set of options than when I started.

80% OFF should be okay

RIM makes some decent hardware with outdated parts. Although I am a big fan of physical keyboard, the price of blackberry phones is not right , if you ask me.

Meanwhile the stocks have dried up and prices increased significantly in other countries for some BB10 models.

At that price I would have bought the Z30 instead of the Jolla if the offer were available in countries besides the few that have ShopBlackBerry.

And the phones come in several versions with differing cellular bands.

Once that Z30 gets below $150, it will be an impulse buy for me. It is the only BB phone I'm interested in and will hopefully get updates for at least 1 more year.

Forget it. Even the Z10 ran out of stock when it reached $200.

BBOS is the best Phone OS out there at the moment in my opinion. Totally blows away iOS, Android and even Windows Phone.

I agree. I've been a iOS user since 3GS, couple android devices (Galaxy S1, Nexus 4), and a Nokia 920. I have a Z10 right now and it's my favorite phone. My iPhone 5 stays in my bag most of the time and I only use the Z10. I am either going to get the Z30 or Passport. The Z30 is a year old and $225 unlocked. Fantastic deal, imo. Also, it can run android apps through the Google Play store or Amazon Marketplace in case you don't like the limited app selection of Blackberry World.

Great price on the Passport! I want to try the new OS and keyboard so I'm selling my OnePlus One if anyone is interested.

Z30 now back on sale for $225. Getting closer to my temptation mark! If they take another $50 off, I would be tempted to pull the trigger.

Black Passport on sale again for $499. Red one is still regular price. Oops. Looks like BB just bumped all Passports back to $599.

Damnit, $225 is too good of a deal to pass up the Z30. I wanted the black one, but they are sold out. So, I ordered the white one. I watched some videos of the Z10, Z30, and Q10 running the new leaked version and I am very impressed! I guess the app issue is no longer, as you have three app stores you can use: BB World, Amazon Marketplace, and Google Play Store. The apps run smoothly on 10.3 or higher. BlackBerry - you've impressed me! I've bought two BlackBerry's today: Q10 (purchased earlier today) and Z30 (I wasn't aware of the deal until just now!)

I would be very interested in your opinions and obserations of the Z30. ;) I'm jealous of your purchase.

Just snatched a Z30 for $225. Was looking for a secondary phone just to tinker around with and with 10.3 and expanded app support it looks like a good choice to go with instead of trying to pick a from a million different android phones. Worst case if I don't like it I return it.
