I would be very interested in your opinions and obserations of the Z30. ;) I'm jealous of your purchase.

Haha, I'll definitely let you know. My Q10 and Z30 are going to be my primary phones for now...I'm getting rid of my M8 -- what an awesome phone, but goodness, the only negative thing I can say about that phone is, the camera...what in the world was HTC thinking. Its kinda like its only flaw, IMO.

Did you get it or did it ship yet?

I had a BB Playbook and liked what I saw from the OS but did not keep it due to small amount of apps available. That was a ways back, I assume it has grown and I think you can even get to Amazon App Store.

I got the Q10 yesterday. I haven't received the Z30 yet. You can actually put the full fledged Google Play Store on it. All of my apps from my M8, I downloaded on my Q10 from the Google Play Store. They run incredibly smooth.

You should pick up a Z10 on eBay for around $80 and give it a try.

While that price is OK I guess for a trial, I think I may just go with the Z30 for $225. I need a larger screen size than the Z10, the Passport looks interesting but too costly at this point. I can get the Z30 with PayPal credit to sretch out the payments.

Thanks for the links.

This is starting to look like a bb10 fire sale.

Perhaps.

I owe NFL46 one cause he was doing a countdown on the crackberry forum and when I saw the supply getting low I jumped on one a couple of days ago.

Damn, I could not even make it till New Year's Day without getting another smartphone. :)
