Ive got a blackbook, but comparing it (in photos) to my 17" wouldn't be so great... Anyway, go for the MBP, main reason being the graphics card, but the higher resolution display, and faster processor certainly won't hurt anything. (except maybe your wallet)

Can anyone help me with this question? Thanks

If I swipe my debit card as a credit card at the Apple Store, it will stand as pending in my account, right? Meaning, I could purchase it, say, tomorrow with the ~$2000 dollar transaction pending in my account and then have the money fall in from PayPal Wednesday, Thursday or Friday before the transaction goes through? Is that possible? I think it is to risky and I do not want to overdraft but if that would work then I am doing it.

Well the debit card is coming out of your checking account I presume. So not having sufficient funds would be just as bad as a bounced check. If I were in your position I would wait. Having a MBP wouldn't be as fun if I had to constantly worry about the transaction going awry.

need help to

does having the extra dedicated video memory really make a difference because the only video stuff i do is watch home videos, internet videos, and watch music videos with i Tunes. will having the extra dedicated memory make a difference?

Not in those situations.

Get a refurbished MBP and call it a day. You'll spend $100 more than the blackbook and be extremely happy that you went with the larger screen and (IMO) better looking/feeling notebook... those scratches on the macbooks are maddening! Plus the fingerprints and oily spots on the black ones are pretty nasty looking if you ask me.

Don't do that. Many times, even if you use a debit card as credit, it will still be processed as a debit card. You may have a few hours, few minutes, but it's not worth not having the $ in your account. You'd be better off putting it on an actual credit card and then paying that off in full when the bill comes.
