I didn’t read the Anandtech review and a half dozen more. Did you read my comment? It seems wrong because then GPU is not a separate chip like Bloomberg said. It is an integrated part of the SOC. So what did the leaker really mean?

Yes, but the wording is weird since it isn’t new and it isn’t a separate chip.
It would be new for iPad.

I seriously hope, Apple does not make a mistake like last time by not making a complete Case for the iPad Pro 10.5" I hope this time, Apple releases and has in making a complete case for the iPad Pro that come out, just like they had released back in 2016 for the 9.7" iPad Pro.

Where exactly does it say, “separate”? I only see the distinction of “custom”. Which if like the A12, means apples custom designed GPU built into the SOC. (Like all previous versions) However in reality the A12 custom GPU is actually very close to imaginations design but apple is calling it custom. Where the differences exist other than number of cores, we don’t know.

That sounds pretty cool, it also sounds like Rambo has found that out digging through code, so I’m guessing it’s confirmed?
He was the one who found out information about the XR and Xs and the new ipad pros launch date. I believe so he seems pretty legit.

Yea I believe he also found the images for the Apple Watch Series 4. If this turns out to be accurate the. The Apple Pencil 2 will be well worth the upgrade, I think it would work really well with apps like Photoshop which is coming next year.

Only thing I don’t like is the hard corner edges like on the iPhone SE. I’ll have to put a case around that.

I wonder if this new ipad will have bigger bezels than the side 10.5" ones

That's my concern - the bezels in that image look a little large in comparison to what we have currently down the sides of the 10.5. I get the feeling they need to be that size due to the Face ID components etc. and Apple's desire for design symmetry. Reducing top and bottom bezels but increasing side bezels is a little frustrating to me.

Bloomberg refers to it as a new chip, not a new core or a chip with a new GPU but a "custom graphics chip". Regardless, we're veering into semantics and I think we both agree that there will be a (mostly/partially) designed Apple GPU in the iPad SoC. I was merely speculating that the vague language may have hinted at other changes.
I’m not understanding your logic. I’ve never heard anyone say that the hard edges of the 5 are more comfortable to hold than the rounded edges of the 6.
Well, you've now heard/read one because I preferred the 5 over the 6. My wife says she did as well. So now you've heard of two people.

This is true.

You’re over thinking it. Im not confused and Bloomberg’s wording makes complete sense because I read the anandtech article.

Go read it. My last explanation is correct. The A12X is going to be exactly the same design, architecture and silicon as in the A12 (with respect to the GPU). Which was apples first custom GPU. I highly suspect it will have twice as many GPU cores though.
