thanks, I should have updated a bit :D

I started another run, Universal, None for anamorphic while maintaining ratio, m4v and no other changes.

I had run a 60 second preview using VLC and it worked fine.

No iPad yet for final testing lol.

One more 1hr. I did start with the cleanest makemkv file.

Can someone post some easy instructions to rip regular DVDs to only view on my iPad? I have a Mac btw. I already have handbrake but what do I use to rip the DVD to the Mac?

What did you use for the conversion to ipad?

Any DVD HD is Avatar ready and what I used (PC only).

Hi I also use AnyDVD HD. Workflow I decrypt/rip the BD images to Terabyte drives they are all still in 1080p. So everything is preserved just like the real BD then I mount with Daemon Tools to watch with PwrDVD9 to my 65".

Now I want to try converting the BD images for ipad mainly my concert BD stuff. I expect the chapter selection features, extra content stuff isnt automatic will be only the feature film converted?

I dont have normal DVD backups anymore so that takes care of what is best for me. I only have the BD's whats the best software method for Windows based conversion with highest quality for ipad settings?

I also have Macbook Pro but want to work on the Windows side for now.

Thanks.

For the PC, download RipBot264. RipBot will convert your BluRay to a single MKV video file. Then use HandBrake to convert that file for your iPad.
