For me, 12.4 RC hasn't fixed the issue.
On my Late2015 27" iMac, my Magic Mouse (an my Magic Trackpad) lags when CPU activity is high.
It's very easy to reproduce: macOS startup, SwiftUI previews ...
It's not a BT disconnect, it's like if the CPU is not strong enough to animate the mouse cursor smoothly.
It's directly linked to CPU usage.
I have tried with a clean install: no problem, with a Big Sur partition: same problem.
It's a problem with Monterey BT stack

definitely a different BT issue. you should report it in the feedback app, or the (probably-hopeless) link below:

When you say “clean install: no problem” you mean with a clean install of Monterey? 12.3.1?
