It's a problem with the 23" ACD, not just the X1900 XT.kylepro88 said:I have a MacPro w/1900XT and Bootcamp works like a charm.
AFAIK it's still an issue, yes. The Boot Camp version is completely irrelevant as the problem prevents you from even installing Windows.Willis said:erm, out of curiosity... Is this still an issue after the update from apple on Bootcamp?

The 23" ACD can do 640x480, but for some reason still has problems.ReanimationLP said:Why I'll always prefer a CRT over an LCD. CRTs can do 640x480 easily and not look like crapola.

A lot of games simply won't start. BF2142 for instance...fifa2007 and so on. Other will...but there's something weird going on with direct x and the cinema display.
Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Again, this is an issue with the 23" not the 30". I'm also starting to suspect it's nothing at all to do with the X1900 XT either, I only included it in the beginning since I had no idea what the problem was.Racerdog55 said:I may just be one of the lucky ones here and I sure hope it continues, because of the price I paid for the new Mac Pro with the 30" screen, it makes a whole new meaning to the word computing.
It was? If so, that's great news, especially if I have to reinstall Windows someday (seems inevitableThis issue was fixed for me with the Mac Pro firmware update 1.1
