Saving an occasional image of your Windows environment with WinClone is also a good backup in the event your Windows installation gets corrupted and you have to start over again. Installing Window is such a pain with all the countless updates and reboots .... restoring your WinClone image is quick and painless, and it is all done under OS X.

Very good suggestion. A must have application for every BootCamper! Re-installing Windows isn't exactly having fun. Saved my bacon several times using WinClone's restore-with-one-click. But I hope the developer will make incremental cloning available if possible. Doing a offsite backup of the WinClone image can take some time...

I totally agree here. I have 4 backup systems in place (backups of backups etc) so I was hopefully covered but the pain of installing windows again is so time consuming. Just checked my new install and it listed another 30 import updates.

I will def get an external SSD and WinClone it over, its just that there were very few thunderbolt 2 enclosures available when I bought this machine, I only need around 400 GB for Windows.
