I got my C2D MBP today. Thought I'd quickly have a shot of gaming in windows, and have spent the day trying to get windows to work. I'm using bootcamp and the install works fine. Restart and install the drivers. First time it crashed half way through, and by crash I mean just switched off. Rebooted everything worked fine excpet bluetooth. I tried to install drivers again, seemed to work but no bluetooth still. So I started again, unpartitioned, repartitioned and finally install again. Once again a perfect install by windows, bravo and all that. Install the drivers, all goes fine, bluetooth symbol pops up, great. Do you want to restart, yes! I restart and then it won't boot. I get c:\windows\system32\pci. (or somethign similar) is missing can not boot. Try repair using XP CD. Not sure if this would work I went through the whole process again of installing windows, and got the same error of pci missing. What the hell is going on? Any ideas anyone. So annoyed, I could have lived without bluetooth under windows, but oh no I had to try fix it. Great! I dont even use windows except to game, and I've spent nearly all day trying to get it to work, I'm unimpressed!
And yes I am aware it is beta, but no one seems to have had this problem? Could the fact I'm using a CD-RW disc for the drivers have anythign to do with it? I can't see any reason why this would unless one of the drivers is related to the cd drive?
