The iPhone is extremely boring. I've been sick of looking at the same old boring UI for several months. It just doesn't interest me anymore. I plan on switching to Verizon soon.

I think you're missing the point. I'm happy when I know how to navigate through a UI blindfold. At the end of the day it's a tool to use, not a problem to solve.

I can't think of much worse than having to learn a new UI everytime I got "bored". One of the good things about the iOS is the ease at which you can navigate around it and use it. It's designed to be quick to learn. It's not a game that continually tests your ability.

The problem is that you're looking for ways to use it rather than using it how and when you need it.

Exactly. One should never buy anything expensive in hopes of finding uses for it. One buys something for particular uses that one already has! It's a shame that the OP expected his phone to be a super-fun-time-machine that entertains for years. The iP4 is a terrific phone that does multimedia (once jailbroken).

Indeed...I spent more time "customizing," rooting, and inputting code on my Android devices (Galaxy S in 3 variants, Acer Liquid E, Xperia X10, etc.) than actually using it as a phone/web surfing machine/multimedia player.
