I was at a yard sale this morning. Much to my surprise, a teenage girl was selling a 2005, 12 inch iBook G4 1.33. She assured me that though she didn’t have the charger, it worked. Skeptical, I asked how much? $7.
No freaking way.
$7, working or not, is an unbelievable deal on an iBook G4. Mainly because they’re collectors items now. So, I bought it figuring I had been lied to but hey, iBook man.
So anyway, I returned home, installed 1 gig of RAM in it, plugged it in, and much to my surprise IT WORKS. Like literally everything (including the battery) works. The CMOS battery might be dead but I can fix that.
Anyway, other than doing a clean install of Leopard followed by Rebirth, what should I do with it? Any suggestions?
