I really don't understand why some members are making such a big deal about this thread. Yes, you can go to the boxee website (like you always could) or even TUAW but like many programs in ALPHA stage. It doesn't ALWAYS work properly. I applied for an invite at the boxee website months ago, and still haven't received the invitation. Somebody on MacRumors was kind enough to invite me (in the first boxee invites thread) so I have tried to repay the favor, as of today I have invited over 450 MacRumors members.

Obviously there STILL is a demand for personal invites, and this IS the area for it. So I don't see why you find it so annoying and want the thread closed. People keep asking for invites and people keep sending them out. If it is really that annoying to you, you can unsubscribe to this thread.

Anybody who still needs invites can post them here, or PM me and I'll fire one off for you.
