Apple is still charging $450 for the unlocked 16GB iPhone 4S. Meanwhile the 16GB Nexus 4 is $250, and it has a larger, higher resolution screen, a faster quad core processor and more RAM(no more reloading browser tabs, YAY!).
I do see examples like yours daily on the internet. "Apple charge this amount $... and you can get this _______ for this amount $.... "

So what? Buy the cheaper alternative that you feel is better. Why the bitterness towards a product you have no interest in buying? I really don't get some peoples agenda on subjects like this. I check out MR every day out of interest to see what is happening and it is clear a big chunk of the discussion is to justify why Apple are so rubbish. If those people were happy with their devices and the choices they made, why are they complaining about what they perceive to be an inferior product?! I don't have a membership on Android forums to mock products I don't have an interest in buying. I just have to shake my head reading some of this stuff.

I think I need a lay down. :)

It doesn't seem to make an awful lot of difference here though Fred. If I could honestly say all the criticism's in the iPhone section were from iPhone owners, you'd have a point. Unfortunately recognisable aspects are found across multiple threads. I think perhaps I need to find somewhere with genuine constructive criticism from actual users........

I criticize Apple because I actually LIKE their products and I want to see some improvement? In my opinion, the prices they're charging for 2 year old hardware is outrageous. There are quite a few situations like this, and I don't mind paying the premium that Apple usually charges, but some cases it's just too much.

I was an iPhone user until about 3 months ago when I sold it and bought an Android phone. I use my iPad EVERY DAY, and someday I'll own a Mac again. If Apple ever updates the MBP line(including the retina models).

androidcentral is just one site and doesn't really represent the community as a whole, IMO.

Just judging from this article , any move that Apple makes is criticized by Android site and users.

Android sites/users are something else.

Good job judging a whole category of sites and people based on what one person says. And making a thread about it.

Let's just hope noone judges this site based on your post :D
