It's fine, but I would never shower with the watch on my wrist. First of all, it's a perfect time to charge the watch. Second, Apple says that soaps and detergents/shampoos can damage the water resistance seals on the watch.

I've been doing that for many years, see above, but - to each their own.
 
As a lap swimmer ordered the silicone Solo Loop. Didn't like it at all as it felt uncomfortable, tight, and lots of stretching to get it on. Not sure how the braided version would have been. Went back to the adjustable nylon Sport Loop for comfort and versatility.

Just to follow up on this again and thanks for all your help!
  1. I did end up getting the solo braided and it looks great!
  2. normal hand washing etc it'll get a bit wet, but nothing that bothers me. I've actually rinsed it a couple of times and you can just pat it dry easily it dries quickly
  3. Overall I think 'wetness' isn't really an issue or would bother me, but I am actually more curious concerned about whether the 'elasticity' of it would wear off over time and becomes looser than I'd want it to be
