Depends on whether i feel I can trust the company, or whether the app is an absolute necessity. But generally I have several browsers in which I compartmentalise all my web activity.

Brave=facebook and twiiter

DuckDuckG0= Shopping

Safari = Regular browsing and work stuff (to get the continuity between devices)

Firefox = Finance

FireFox Focus = The search engine is set to google. I use this If i simply cant find the results using another search engine, or need to translate or use google maps or something. I try to compartmentalise google as much as possible.

SnowHaze = Other browsing I would like to keep more private, researching gifts or holidays or something.

Onion Brower = Tor for very sensitive things, perhaps medical symptom searches etc
