Just ran WoW on highest specs for 10 minutes. I know it's not a graphically demanding game, so I know you wont be surprised when I say it ran all the highest specs no problem. It probably wont during Raids, Dungeons, etc. but all the highest specs are kind of overkill anyways.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for.

Capacity: 1 TB (1,000,204,886,016 bytes)
Model: WDC WD1001FALS-40Y6A0

The WD1001FALS Caviar Black is an excellent drive. On Newegg, with a total of 2500+ user reviews, this drive is rated at 75% excellent + 10% good, with only 2% poor and 8% very poor. The Seagate ST31000528AS is a different story. Of 800 reviews only 54% and 12% rate it as excellent and good, while 6% and 23% rate it as poor and very poor. Apple has gone in the right direction with this WD. It is a fast quiet drive, and very cool running temp wise.

If it is a 21.5" you needn't worry about screen issues. It's the 27" that are having issues

Not according to this. While there are very few entries, the percentage of yellow tint issues is much higher with the 21.5 than the 27's. This, however, was not the case with the previous models.

Congrats on your purchase, JHorstmann!

Considering that you just admitted you have the 5670 graphics card, there are a number of people in the Gaming Benchmark Thread who are going to love you forever if you could benchmark a few games for them. :) Stop on by once you have everything set up!

Welp, nevermind, I didn't even see this post. :)

Still, some people would love to hear your benchmarks for WoW!

You don't consider yourself a PC gamer but you play WoW? I think that just about qualifies you! :)

I don't really know how to benchmark for a specific game, honestly.

I think it qualifies me also, but I'm sure most would disagree!

Good to know, thanx. As far as the noise go, it doesn't bother me one bit coming from a wind tunnel testing facility that is the Quad G5, with fans on 3400+rpm even at idle.

I have the quad i7 and it is NOTHING compared to my old PC. My iMac is practically silent, even when working with video, or playing SC2. Yes the fans kick on but the audible level is much much quieter then my previous machine.
