This decision is not that difficult. Prioritize what you need. If you don't need the latest, Face ID, the new design, and don't want to chance a model not to your liking, then get the 10.5. Simple.Or do I be done with it and get a 10.5

This year I got 4 MacBook pros because of cracked screens or scratches in the body. I got the Apple Watch and deep gouges in the first one. Second one was perfect.
So excited for my first ipad I didn’t pay much attention to the frenzy of bendgate because I was relieved to see that some did not have it on theirs.
So I used my amazon gift cards and got a brand new one.
Bent of course cellular.
So I had the choice to return for a replacement, which would arrive tomorrow but I cancelled it.
Working for car dealerships having tolerances in different parts of the machining process were normal and could be explained. He’ll even Subaru f’d up and bought back numerous Ascents for being improperly spot welded.
So I watched every video I could today, and it scares me, people just gripping the middle and it bending, or it dropping from 4 feet and shattering. Even though I have a case on all my devices by I-Blasen I feel that these $1300 tech pieces should hold their own in a back pack.
So am I wrong for wanting to go to the 10.5 pro with cellular to not worry about it, or should I call back and get the 11 inch not stopped?
Has anyone got the 10.5 and are happy with it after their 11/12 inch bent?
I was hoping my first ipad would be nice but it didn’t even lay flush on my table..,
You’re not wrong in the sense that anything you wanna do is right...for YOU. But you are wrong that mearly holding the ipad pro will bend it(thats not true)...and i got news for you, if you drop a 10.5” ipad pro 4 feet off the ground, it’s gonna shatter too.
Look. If in your heart, you really want the 11”....GET IT. I don’t think you’ll regret it. I got one, and i friggin love this thing. Best ipad i’ve ever owned. Yes it’s expensive. Yes it’s thin. But protect it in a case like any other ipad, and you’ll be very happy. I am. I put mine in a case not cause i am scared of it bending, but more because i don’t want to crack the screen. I have cracked several regular ipad screens in the past, and always use a case on my ipads now. Its a sheet of glass. Would you put your macbook into a full backpack with the screen open? No of course not.
But then I lose out on using it at restaurants when I’m eating or travelingMy 11 is just as straight and durable as my 10.5 was. I’m not seeing any difference in quality, although I’d say the 11’s overall design is much better and easier to hold. I’d say go for th WiFi version and you’ll be happy.
Durability / Reliabilty are important even in a case I don’t want to put a bent iPad Pro to hide the bend...
I cancelled the 11 inch cellular that was suppose to come tomorrow.... I don’t want the WiFi version and it seems like everyone’s having them bendIf it is bothering you, return the bent iPad.
Amazon usually has a great return policy. If you go to your orders in your account, you will see exactly how long you have to return your iPad. You will have return method options and the cost showing on each. They will refund your amount back to your Amazon account if you purchased using Amazon gift cards.
You will probably have some delay in between your return and the credit, but not much if you get the iPad shipped or dropped off quickly.
I don’t keep items I’m not satisfied with. Back they go. Easy.
And if you absolutely need cellular and you’re worried about the 11” LTE bend lottery, the 10.5” Pro is a great device also.
I need cellular because I do school work on the go and sometimes WiFi isn’t availableIf it is bothering you, return the bent iPad.

How so. What is about restaurants and traveling that make your iPad unusable? Do you have an iPhone? If it's with you you've got a wifi hotspot in your pocket. But then I lose out on using it at restaurants when I’m eating or traveling
You know that's BS. "Everyone" is not getting bent iPads.I don’t want the WiFi version and it seems like everyone’s having them bend

Why would they?So far no one has posted a picture of their straight cellular ipad
But then I lose out on using it at restaurants when I’m eating or traveling
I haven’t even seen the update so far. There are MORE examples of them being bent than not
[doublepost=1546568980][/doublepost]Also that is a WiFi unit
I saw the pic you posted of your iPad and it’s as bent as mine, meaning it likely doesn’t impact functionality at all, and you can’t even tell it’s bent without holding it up to your eye in a very specific way or using a straight edge on it. So...maybe just stop worrying about it and enjoy the darn thing.
People with perfectly fine iPads don't take to the internet to complain that there is nothing wrong with them. They just go on about their day. You're making a mountain of a molehill and using extremely one-sided data to come to a poor conclusion.I haven’t even seen the update so far. There are MORE examples of them being bent than not

Sorry, LOL. Not returning mine. I’m betting that half the 11” LTEs out there have this bend but 99% of the owners aren’t nitpicking their devices, they’re just enjoying them, blissfully ignorant that there’s a campaign to return them. That makes the folks that do return them the outliers, and not much will come of that.yeah... thats one approach that I hope nobody follows. For Apple's sake I hope every single manufacturing-bent iPad gets returned to them. If you can tell its bent by any objective visual observation, send it back. Apple need a wake-up call. If anyone should be able to manufacture and ship a perfect gadget, it is Apple. Especially at those prices, for the love.
People aren’t checking their devices against a straight edge. Which, frankly, means they have a healthy relationship with their tech. It doesn’t mean their devices don’t have this bend, it just means they aren’t looking for it.People with perfectly fine iPads don't take to the internet to complain that there is nothing wrong with them. Don’t think AC+ will cover the bending issue.Get AppleCare+ to cover any issues in the future.

Except they *are* coming bent out of the box. Apple admitted it.I highly doubt the ipad came bent out of the box and you are not telling us the whole story.
