iPad Buy iPad Pro now?

$150 off the 12.9 right now at Best Buy. $125 off the 11. Still kind of torn there. I am more a couch surfer, emails, social media, photo editing on my lap kind of fella. I have a 13in MacBook I use primarily.
Dont see it getting much better than this.

the current Pro is plenty fast enough for any app you can throw at it. 64gb is plenty if you store most of your stuff in the cloud. I have that and do not struggle, how people fill 1TB is beyond me. Get the current pro with whatever discount you can find.
Have to be honest the speed and 120hz is amazing but i immediately notice the contrast in dark scenes compared to my XS or LG oled
Don't think there are ever such discounts in Ireland. I'd think about buying new iPad Pro 12.9 if there was.
The 256, 512, and 1T 12.9" are all $200 off at Best Buy right now, as on Amazon.
There are people on this thread with seemingly insider information that are saying there will and will not be a refresh in 2019. I mean, not everyone can be correct. I'm going with Ming on this one and waiting for a refresh. Although, admittedly $200 off right now is a pretty good deal. I can always trade it in later and get a new one when they come out, but it's impossible to know how much the extra months of iPad Pro ownership will cost me. I have a 1st Gen 12.9, and I might want to trade it in now.
Ultimately a first world problem.

I had forgotten about Ming Chi Kuo's predictions. I hope he's right on new iPad Pros this year. We'll see.

13" 32 GB MacBook Pro - Wrong, unless another one comes out later. Maxes out at 16 GB.
10.2" iPad - Close. New 10.5" Air out.

iPod touch - Correct
Airpower - Wrong. It was axed by Apple.

So we’re no closer to knowing if a refresh is imminent. I do have a feeling there will be a silent spec bump though.
Oh and yes, I can afford any of the iPads but I’ve spent too much on Apple stuff so 64gb or 128gb will do.

I do want an oled on my iPad Pro... bit I’m a little concerned about how much more expensive it would make it. Watched a movie on my “old” 9.7” iPad Pro the other night and the blacks were really bad.
Side note... anyone else notice that only the silver 1tb LTE gets the $200 discount, not the space gray? At least this week when I’ve looked this has been the case at both Amazon and Best Buy.
Also going back to traditional ipad size from the mini 4 makes me mad there isnt a mini pro. The speed difference is just incredible lol, but i dont have huge hands so i really liked typing on the mini
I never thought I’d want a 64gb version until I got mine that had 256gb and saw I only used 26. Now any future versions will be the base model
I just went a checked again - right now on Amazon the 1Tb is $250 off for both WiFi models and the SG cellular model. Not the Silver cellular tho - that's still $200 off for whatever reason.
yeah i got 64gb knowing that most of my apps for movie/music all are streaming now. My photos are usually on the phone anyway or stored on my laptop.
ipados is gonna be a gamechanger especially once they figure out a sleek way to incorporate extra storage and what not and charging into a case
