iPad Pro Buy Now or Wait?

Buy now if you are able to get a substantial discount on it, otherwise wait until next Fall. I'm sure another revision or two will be released by then.
Because if there is an event... it’s only a few weeks away, and it might have new iPads ( I doubt they will, but that’s just me.) if you’ve already waited until now, I’d give it until the 25th-31st of October, (but next week) would probably be the one for them to announce it.
The 11" pro is a great device, had mine 3 months or so, I can't see the new pro if it comes this year having huge updates, I'm guessing it will get the better camera like on the iPhone 11 pro and bumps to the internals .
I think the camera you can be certain will get improved on a new iPad pro, so if that matters to you, I would wait and see if an announcement comes, if not I would just get the current pro.
Honestly not interested in a camera upgrade all that much on an iPad. I don’t use like I do my iPhone for taking pictures. Too big. It’s a tablet. More interested in a possible spec bump. Amazon has a decent deal going on right now that I was interested in, hence the inquiry. I don’t “need” anything right now. Would be nice to have and make life a bit nicer.
Idk, I’d say wait till the end of the month to see if anything is announced. There’s part of me that thinks that there may not be anything from the iPad announced. The 3rd generation pro isn’t yet a year old (announced October 30th 2018) it’s not far off but if I’m not mistaken, iPad Pro has historically seen an 18 month turnaround? Possibly 2019, but my guess is 2020 for a new or refreshed pro.
Im waiting for the announcement, if there is no improvement to the body of the ipad I might go ahead and get the pro 11...I currently do not have any ipad
New iPad Pro is going to have a ToF camera which will render all prior iPads extremely outdated. Don’t buy an iPad now
Now there is a good deal if you are a student because you can buy an iPad Pro with Beats solo 3 as a gift. It’s like a discount of 200€ and a 5% off in your iPad
I'm sort of in a similar boat. I currently have an iPad Air 2 that I have had for years, seems like forever. I love the iPad and use it every night for just light browsing and shopping on Amazon and things like that nothing super intensive. I would love a nicer screen and a more updated form factor (the smaller bezels) but I don't want to be burnt by a product being released soon so I am waiting out this month to see if there is a refresh.
Lots of conflicting rumors on whether it will be this month or next year. Frustrating if you are trying to decide to pick one up now or not.
Any spec bump really will not add anything, the iPad Pro is already way faster and abler than it needs to be to run anything available for it. The previous Gen iPad Pro is still faster than anyone will need. in terms of performance.
Stop procrastinating and just get it purchased.
Pulled the trigger. I don’t use an iPad for its camera so I’m fine with that. Only the front one. Other than that it has all the specs I could ever need or want.
It may not add anything in the immediate, but if they raise the RAM from 4GB to 6GB it might make a difference in the future.
Maybe. I have 30 days. Even then, my device isnt just going to stop working because they made a new one. Lol.
1- Because 99% of people use their iPads as cameras? I’ll use my iPhone for that. 2- You can be the beta tester for this.
If anything, it will be a spec bump like they did with the XS to 11 Pro. It’s all about the Camera.
Doesn't look like any upgrade this year. No Apple event invitation. And check front page of Macrumors. New info suggests 2nd part of 2020
