Am I talking to a 10 year old? I'm not playing dumb. I know they were deleted. That's why I asked "show me." What's with the pickle up your ass anyway? It's just a thread. What's with the "will NOT be about what you". Don't like this thread. Tough... Looking forward to an intellectual discussion about the topic which is, Will you be buying from the refurb store? That's it. Not looking to start any hoopla. I'm looking forward to the iPad.

Give it up already, what kind of intellectual discussion do you expect to have about buying a product not even released yet on the refurb store that is not even guaranteed to have it this fall. You also have two active threads asking the same question. So what was the point in asking the other poster to show you when you knew you created multiple threads, you played dumb hoping people would forget or not notice.

I plan to buy an iPad. When a new one is only $629 with 3G, there is no way I want to wait for a refurb to show up. The poll isn't written in a way that allows me to vote. I plan to wait, but not for revision B. I plan to wait until I better understand how Att will treat 3G access. They say there is no contract required. Does that mean I can keep turning it on and off a half dozen times a year or will Att put limits on it? After I've spent an extra $130 for 3G is not the time for me to find out I need to shell out $15 month-in month-out for my usage pattern.

This thread would be more useful if there was an option for "Yes I'm buying one but waiting for more questions to be answered." This thread would also be more useful if its tone was a little more positive. And I don't mean positive on the iPad, I mean posters need to be more positive, respectful and courteous toward each other.

Someone called you out on starting a thread that had this same question. Perhaps you weren't playing dumb but you were certainly banking on people's memories being real bad. You knew few could show you a thread that was deleted as it was deleted. If your thread is pointless enough to be deleted what makes you think a repost is necessary? This thread is no different than this thread.

I was't relying on people's memories memories being bad. My thread wasn't deleted because it was pointless. It was deleted because it was my first time creating a poll. To edit my poll I hit back in the browser to make a modification. I didn't realize that it would create the post every time I did that. I was contacted by a moderator to notify me. I explained and the other duplicate posts were deleted. That's why I asked show me. No more, no less. I also realized now that there were 10 responses to my deleted post. I din't know this. Man people are quick in responding to posts.

it is just a thread what you're not understanding is the comment that the thread won't be about what you want it to be about. In other words, putting restrictions on who can post a response and how a response should be posted for those who do is inane. What usually happens is you get 10 responses and one of the 10 may very well be the response you sought while the other 9 are going to gang up on you for post inane posting rules. It may not have been clear the way it was written to you, but it is clear to me and I bet it's clear to others.

I'm sorry if it was perceived that way. That was not my intention. My intention was to learn from the community on their purchase choice of the upcoming iPad. I was trying to direct the post in a way to deflect negative iPad bashers as it was getting old. I'm not the Gestapo, just another community member.

, as far as your thread goes, I think those who want an iPad are waiting to see what happens. If they're crap and delievered with QC issues then some may wait for the QC issues (you know there's likely to be something) to be worked out then re-buy and buy new or they'll go refurb, save some cash and hope that the problem was worked out.

I'm waiting for an refurb myself. I had an awesome refurb experience with my MBP.

Ah, ok. Just as a future tip; you don't control who posts/does not post in threads you create. Once it's on the boards it is open season unless the mods say otherwise.

At least your original thread was not derailed by people complaining about multiple threads. Maybe you should make one more. :p

As soon as it's available, I'm opting for the 64gb wifi model with keyboard-'n'-dock, case, and the camera kit -- and AppleCare to protect it all.

Don't have the patience to wait for a refurb.
