Other Buying iPhone 11 in 2022? Wait for March 8th event?

I have an 11 Pro and it's still a gem of a phone.

I think the 11 Pro is a bit of a cult classic simply because of the Midnight Green colour option. I love my Ocean Blue 12 Pro but if it had been available in Midnight Green I would have chosen that in an instant. 11 Pro remains my favourite ever iPhone ?

Seems utterly bizarre to go from an XR to an 11 at this point, firstly as there were no new features going from the XR to 11, and also as they are both old at this point now anyway. Can’t you at least get a 12? Or just keep the XR

Wouldn’t touch the 11 with a barge pole. The 12 should be the bare minimum otherwise go with an SE3 for an updated budget phone.

Why? Nothing wrong with the 11 and it has better battery life than the 12.

I know the screen is worse btw but u less you prefer the squares edges I would still consider the 11 with the extra weight over the 12.

I want the 12 myself coming from a 11 max due to weight.

I really like the 12’s display. I also much prefer the new design of the 12 rather than the 11. Rounded edges no longer do it for me and I never rated the appearance of any of the mainline phones between the 5 and 12. I know it’s a stupid elitist vanity thing but everyone knows you’re rocking an older phone with the 11 whereas at least the 12 can mistaken for the 13. MagSafe is important to me now that I’ve bought all the accessories for it too. I also can’t suggest that someone purchase a phone with a 2019 A13 chip inside it when the A15 is freely available even on a budget phone. I know it’s fine now but you’re getting 2 years less usage if you’re looking to own it long-term.

I love the 12 but I wouldn’t go with it either when the 13 will be discounted in Sept. I would just wait for the 14 to be released before switching.
