I disagree that he did anything to wake it up. Often on my CD MBP that has had the logic board replaced already, I will close the lid, the white light comes on steady, but it is not sleeping and my music keeps playing non-stop in iTunes. It happens quite frequently even though I repair disk and all that stuff. It just doesn't go to sleep sometimes. It does happen randomly, I have tried troubleshooting it with all my hardware and it does not matter. I usually now have to tell it to sleep, then close the lid.
