Ok i have a windows live account and a blank DVD. now where do i go to download this windows 7 release candidate and is the same as buying a copy from ebay? which would you think is easier

You go here

Take your choice our of 32 or 64 bit (32 probably better for older games) then before you download it will ask you to sign into your WL/Hotmail account. After which they give you a product key (print or save as PDF) and a java based download manager starts. Once downloaded burn the ISO with Disk Utility then you're ready to start boot camp. The RC will last until March 2010 when it will start shutting down after 2 hours..

Ok i just looked at this whole windows 7 downloading business and now im a bit hesitant about doing it. Apparently I shoudnt download it on my primary computer, which im on, and like you said my computer will shut down every two hours. All i want to do is get windows on a blank DVD so that when boot camp assistant asks for the windows installation disc, the former blank DVD will work and i will be able to install Windows on my iMac via bootcamp. But if this is the easiest/only way...i geuss ill do it. and also is there a way i can download boot camp or boot camp assistant again i dont seem to have it

I dont know if this belongs here or on the Windows Mac section but has anybody tried to run CoD WaW on the Alu MacBook

It works fantastically. I've played the whole game through and often play the Zombie Nazi levels with 3 other buddies, all the while my settings are on fairly high (max resolution, 2x AA, vsync, etc.) and remain very lag free with ping levels in the 20 to 30 range. All the patches (including the current one, 1.4) work great as well.

Mind you I've been running this on Windows 7 64-bit (build 7127).

i never tried,
but let me tell you this,
there is NO way a macbook can run CoDWaW... maybe the MBP, but i still have my doubts

build a real gaming computer, or sumtin, but theres no way it can run CoDWaW let alone CoD4 (at a reasonable fps, at the lowest settings)

CoD4 runs fine at native resolution on a MacBook Air. CoD: WaW runs very nicely in boot camp on my MacBook Air also.

Read carefully (or at all, it seems). It says don't install it on your primary computer. You're safe installing it. Also, it will only shut down after 2 hours after May of 2010.

Boot camp assistant is part of OS X. Use Spotlight, it's there.
