I just got my iPhone this week and have had several cases where I could clearly hear the person I called but they could not hear me. I had full bars each time and data service was working fine. I called my old cell as a test and could hear nothing from my iPhone. This has all occured in Cherry Hill NJ. I hope it' not the phone. In addition, I had an issue with the iPhone seeing the SIM card. Tried reseating serveral times but it did not help. Finally, I got it to work by rubbing my shirt on the contacts. I've seen threads where people have used tape on the SIM for better contact. Is this a known hardware flaw or a dirty SIM?
Just wondering if I should return this phone before I return home from my trip here in NJ (no close Apple stores at home).
