Is there a tablet with any significant market share today? I thought they were all niche markets at this point. You would be pretty hard pressed to see a tablet listed on any of the major shopping sites when shopping for a computer.

iPod touch? Isn't the tablet a bigger, more functional iPod Touch? It seems to enjoy healthy sales. I have no reason to believe a tablet won't.

Given I already have an iPhone and a MacBook Air, I'm not sure a tablet will appeal to me, but I think it will have a large following. If the tablet offers some integration with a revised AppleTV, I would be very interested.

BTW, Apple could offer a polished turd and it would be successful.

Netbooks are the real challenge for tablet.

Tablet PC's been around for a long time, and has not caught on.
The Mac tablet will have to be something really spectacular to bring in the customers.

And it better have FireWire 800.
I do not want to wait 20 min to backup something I could do in 5.
