Can anybody confirm that as of 10:00 pm Pacific, Unlimited 3G is still

OMG I just wanted to say that I JUST activated my Unlimited 3G plan for my iPad!!!!!!!!!

I also got an Apple iPad case today at the Apple Store, they must have just gotten them in today, because there were a lot of them!!!

So I have my case + my Unlimited 3G!!!!!!!!

I found a Best Buy that has a 64GB 3G in stock. I'm going to pick it up tomorrow. I'll be lucky NOT to have it open and using it as I walk out the door of the store let alone having it sitting around in the box. :D
 
ATT told me today they have extended the unlimited cutoff for a 'to be announced' amount of time. my guess is about a month for those already on order to receive their 3g ipad. don't delay.

Where'd you hear that if you don't mind me asking? Reason I inquire is because I've got a 32gb + 3g on order (jun 24 ship date), but my local best buy MIGHT just have gotten some (opens in 20 mins). I'm wondering if the one at best buy can have unlimited, and you answered my question.

FYI, I heard the same thing from AT&T yesterday. Due to a slip-up on my part, I didn't have enough money in the bank when the auto-renew kicked in and I was terrified I lost my unlimited plan. I called AT&T and they told me "We have not removed the unlimited 3G data plan for iPad customers at this time." That wasn't what I'd heard on the internet, but it was what I was told by AT&T.
 
Good to know, I appreciate the heads up! No wonder it' not on the net, AT&T wants people to still think it's over ; ) official announcements wouldn't help that goal.
 
Complete non sequitur, but my iPhone dropped the call with AT&T customer service. As someone who generally has decent experience with AT&T, I found this very amusing. Interestingly, AT&T immediately called me back without me having given them my number.

Same thing just happened to me, except I was on the phone with Newegg. I also did not give them my phone number; must be caller ID.

I didn't make it out of the door of best buy before setting up my iPad. :p I had my MacBook Pro 13" with me in my back pack. So after paying, I unboxed the iPad, got my MacBook Pro on Best Buy's Wifi network, activated in iTunes and I walked out of the Best Buy downloading apps and playing games on my iPad.

I signed up for the unlimited data plan. :cool:
