I'm BEYOND happy with Trip Cubby. Being able to have different rates for different trips rocks, the frequent trips rocks. Overall, just darn happy!

http://www.appcubby.com/trip/index.html

There is a lite version to try out - and I have no idea what the cost is at the moment, it is one of those apps for me that it wouldn't matter, i'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

i wish "cubby" would make an all in one.... i've been using Gas Cubby for a year now and love it.... the trip cubby looks sweet also, didn't know about that one, but wish they had "all in one" app.....

Me too - but i'm in Trip Cubby daily (lives in my home dock actually) and gas not as often, so i've adapted. I used an awesome App on my Palm the last time i was tracking mileage - and Trip Cubby by far surpasses it for less money. I love being able to easily push a button to designate "kids", "medical" and so forth. In fact, before i bought it - i was only planning on tracking medical mileage, but this makes it way easy to say - "i've carted the kids X number of miles to their stuff, pay up!" :D

But having it be one app would be nice - less screen-estate that way!

I'm looking forward to the next versions of Rev and Dashcommand. These applications connect wirelessly to the cars computer via an accessory, such as Kiwi WiFi or OBDKey, that is plugged into the OBD II port under the dashboard and are able to display, diagnose, and log information from the ECU. In addition to displaying real time gauges of speed, RPM, boost, throttle, fuel trim, MPG, etc, they can also reset the ECU's error codes.

The next revision of these apps will integrate trip information to include mileage as well as other information. I'm presently using Rev, which is great, with my Kiwi WiFi but the next version of Dashcommand looks very impressive.

Here are some screenshots of the hopefully upcoming Dashcommand update:

1DayLater

If you want something really simple and easy to use I would check out 1DayLater which gives you time, mileage and expense tracking - it uses nice visuals to keep you productive and once you start using it every day you'll be laughing. There is an app for iphone and soon to be apps for nokia (n-series), blackberry and other platforms

I use VehiCal. The only feature I need is to track my mileage for work and tax purposes. It does just that. I haven't tested any other apps but I may check a few posted in the thread.

TrackMyDrive - iPhone Mileage Tracker

Hello,

My name is Steve, I am the creator of http://trackmydrive.com

I was frustrated with a lot of the mileage trackers that were out there so I decided to create TrackMyDrive.

I have tried to make the interface as easy as possible. When starting a trip, you simply click "Start Tracking" and it will track your trip through GPS. At the end of the trip, you name it and it uploads to a http://trackmydrive.com

You are able to print out reports and also manually add trips as well. Here is the link for iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/trackmydrive/id504448321

Let me know if you have any questions, I am glad to help.

Thanks!

klicks

We've just launched a new app that takes a different approach to your typical mileage apps and allows you to add a trip in as little as 7 seconds! It's super-simple, but flexible enough to accomodate most people's need and it's called klicks.

There's still a few promo codes going spare here. It's currently at a launch price of only 99c too, so if you miss-out on a code don't despair!

A cheeky video about the app is here.

Hope you like it, and your feedback is very welcome.

I use an application called Vezma: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/vezma/id728483023?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo=4

It's a wonderful application as it is available on all platforms (iOS, Blackberry, Android and Windows Phone). I recently shifted to an iOS from an android device and the data restoration was seamless as all my data was backed up to their online cloud server and it was easy to get it back to my new smartphone. Most importantly, It has a simple interface with loads of features such as expense tracking, exporting data to an excel file and you can also track real time location of a particular user through their live map system.

Although after a month of free service, they have a nominal fee for premium membership, its quite light on my pocket. I just renewed to their one year plan recently and i found their charges to be minimal in comparison to the other applications i have used. Their homepage is http://www.vezma.com.

I do a search on mileage and find this thread.... and see I posted in it about loving TripCubby. Still loving Gas Cubby though.

SOOO, now that TripCubby is no more - what is anyone loving?

Deleted Everlance, unable to put in the actual mileage which I was hoping to be able to do. So I will continue to look.

Can anyone recommend one that does this:

Beginning Odometer
Ending Odometer
Vehicle ID (Could be name etc for multiple vehicles)

Export report that has the following:
Total miles broken down by:
Per Vehicle
Month
Year

Save and or export to cloud service for backup purposes.

I don't mind paying for it, if it does the above, what I don't want is pay a yearly fee.
Thanks

There are many mileage tracking apps available and I have used many of them and the best mileage tracking app for me is MileGo. I've been using it for so long on my trips and is very useful especially that my trips are mostly business related.
