Can anyone test gpu throttling on m1 air?

Hi,

I'm super excited by the new m1 macs, and very tempted to buy a macbook air.
I'd do some light gaming on the machine, and am undecided whether I should invest in the 8 core gpu.

Are you aware of any tests that compare the two gpu versions under sustained load? Or even better, can some forum members with an 8 and a 7 core config post gpu benchmark scores, when looping the benchmark?

I'm sure the 8 core will be faster, but what happens when thermal throttling kicks in? Is it worth the premium, or does the performance difference become negligible.

This would very much appreciated. Torn between 7 gpu vs 8 gpu. And would like to know if 8 gpu throttles more because of the heat
