Try p*dW*orks...

it's good. I do the same thing you do.. althought i have my music backed-up from time to time on my firewire drive, i don't like to keep it on my powerbook taking up precious space. so when i am working on my computer i listen to iTunes from my iPod. People need to chill. not everyone is a pirate. AAARRRGGHHHH! Maties!

I'VE CRACKED IT!!!

I think I've found the solution.

Download SENUTI from version tracker.

It's exactly what I've been looking for to back up my tracks.

Dead simple and completely effective. I was up & running in seconds. Make sure you read the instructions in HELP first, especially if you SYNC.

You can copy single tracks or albums to a folder of your choice, itunes or both. (check preferences)

Highly recommended.

Thanks for the help. :D :D :D :D :D

try this one

hey guys, you can try Copytrans (copytrans(dot)net)
it's a useful tool, u can backup a single song from your ipod, or multiple songs and videos or backup your whole ipod ! it also works on iPhone..

Sorry, I figured that if I'm paying to download stuff to my ipod, I should be allowed to back it up onto disk.

I realise the thing to do would be burn it before I put in on my ipod, this is an idea I've had after downloading tracks for a few weeks & I already deleted them from the itunes library.

In that case, you've only got yourself to blame.

Give Apple a call; they can allow you to download the same files again.

I'm not asking for opinions on my reasons for wanting to do this, only help on how to.
There are three reasons for wanting to copy music from an iPod to a Mac: Having done something really stupid, having really bad luck with backups, or wanting to illegally copy music. I can imagine that you don't _want_ opinions; you still will get them.
