Okay it's too late and it's been a long day of introducing tarantulas to my Apple Watch, so no more poetry from me. Just real advice from a once petite person who used to weigh 84 pounds as an adult until age 37. As someone who was that thin, I had a tiny wrist and did cut many of my bands to make them fit. I've cut leather bands. I've cut plastic polymer bands. I was also a decent hand at crafts, and had a very steady hand with scissors and other cutting implements. Regardless, all of my cut bands ended up looking like cut bands afterwards. On some I did a great job and you could not really tell they were snipped in terms of seeing bad edges, but the problem was that the proportions were ruined. They just looked odd. If it were me I'd just exchange for a band of a different style that truly fits well from the start.
You can cut it and I did. I cut about 7 of the links off plus the main one that's at the end. I used a box opener to cut it and there were no problems. Then once I had it at the desired length I put superglue on the tip of the band and attached the end piece back on.
Agreed. It looks like only the first 8 segments have magnets in them.If you cut leather loop, you will cut off magnet in end of band and the band will come loose much easier.
