iPod touch Can I fit the guts of a 7th gen iPod Touch into the chassis of a 6th gen iPod Touch?

I've got a very pink 7th gen iPod touch with a very scratched-up back and I would like to stick the innards into the chassis of a water-damaged 6th gen iPod touch I've got. I know the screen and battery are pretty much the same between the 5th, 6th and 7th gen iPods... but what about the chassis itself? Would screw holes and so on line up?

I believe the internals are identical between the 6th and 7th gen aside from the processor. Check iFixit's guides to make sure, but I would think they'd fit in the other chassis.
