It was indeed the Sheffield Apple Store.

I should mention that the first repair was carried out by an Authorized Apple repair center, NOT Apple themselves. Apple care told me to take it there to be repaired. I am 100% confident that if Apple themselves carried out the repair then they would have spotted the problem. So Apple's own technicians cannot be blamed in this instance.

When I filled out the survey on the store, I gave them 10/10 for everything.

apple does not have their own techs for most repairs if you take it to a apple store unless its a desktop they dont work on it in house they send it to a contracted repair center. most times due to the volume of units that get shipped ot them they cant be fully tested. authorized repair centers can fix these items in house, sorry to hear you didnt have a good experience with them but not all of them are bad
