I thought there is no jailbreak for the 8.1.1 or .2. Whatever it is. This isn't my phone and if I mess it up I'm gonna get messed up

How can I find out if u don't mind me asking?. I'll be back in in 45 min, I ran outta oil, it's cold lol.

On your original post you said iphone 4 and my answer was based on an iphone 4 model.
Seems like you changed the post after I responded to iphone 5 now.

As long as the sim is activated you should be good. It could be a prepaid one with no credit on it.

Ok thank you so much man , I rely appreciate it man thank u

You also listed iphone 4S and we're not really sure what model you're talking about.
Shouldnt be that hard to figure out what phone you have.
If its that hard then jailbreaking might not be something you should be looking into.
Stay stock.

he did state the model as A1428 so it's an iphone 5

Yeah that's what I said, then OP came back all pissed off. I was just trying to keep him from screwing up someone else' phone.

Jailbraking is not for everyone.
It takes lots of tinkering, testing, researching and trial and error to make it work and figure things out. It's not like a dumb proof stock iOS version that you can't mess up.
If you need a bunch of people to hold your hand after you post a model number and tell you what kind of phone you have then it's a big sign you should stay far away from hacking your mobile device.
Just my common sense opinion on it, that's all.

Is there any specific reason you are saying this or just because Classic iOS is best iOS.
I prefer iOS 6.

I had my iPhone 5 jailbroken on 6.1 and set up EXACTLY how I wanted it, until the battery decided to start swelling. AC+ replacement with less than a month to go and my new i5 came with 7.1.2.

I jailbroke that of course, and I've done what I can. It's almost like I had it on 6.1, but not quite.

iOS 7 and I are barely on speaking terms with each other.

Oh yea I remember you saying that. iOS 6 is certainly still usable albeit many apps require you to download an older version and some newer apps are flat out unavailable.
