I got it out of Compressor in 6 minutes and 40 seconds, setting it up as 12 Mbps, 11.6GB file size.

I still can't get FCP to let me set the export settings to your specs, such as 12 Mbps and 720x480 H.264. I don't know why it's so elusive for me.

Yeah FCP is terrible for that I used a saved present from compressor. Looks like it exports at half the time. Hmm tending but here in Canada a M4 Mini base is $669 with education while the M4 Pro is $1769…

Though if I did get the M4 Pro I would be less likely to want to upgrade when the M5 comes out.

I did find a setting in Compressor that is enabled by default that says, "Use GPU to process Final Cut Pro content sent to Compressor. When selected, Final Cut Pro performance may be affected."

Since my M4 Pro has 20 GPU cores, it makes sense that it would be twice as fast, as I think yours has 10 GPU cores, correct?
