you could use Tab Groups to do that can’t you, just have one Tab Group for YouTube, so that your other webpages don’t get mixed up with your video pages.

I’m intending to use WebApps function for Netflix and Disney+. Those sites don’t tend to require multiple tabs, but I can see on sites where you have smaller content, like YouTube, or where you’d search multiple sources of information (like Wikipedia) then tabs would be useful. But I think TabGroups would solve the issue of providing an isolated view
Yea, that’s what others have suggested. But, i’m just tired of macOS having no life in its app ecosystem. Web Apps has the ability to fill that void.

As least we can finally have a de facto Facebook & Instagram “app” on Mac.

In it’s current form, using Reddit or YouTube in Web Apps would really limit its functionality, as those require you to have multiple tabs for any productive experience.

So I created a webApp from an often used website, it works but I'm seeing loads of ads that I don't see when I access it via Safari. I have AdGuard for Safari installed which is working well for Safari but not for the webApp.

This is what impressed the most during the MacOS keynote, it seems really well done.

I thought I read that it takes extensions into account.

I guess not.

They’re just progressive web apps (PWA). Chrome has supported them for years.
iOS supported web apps since the beginning of time. Meaning it has taken someone at Apple 15 years to decide “oh maybe this could work on the Mac too”.

And I thought we had to wait a long time for Siri on the Mac…
