i dont want it any more due to the fact
i cant be on the internet at all times i can
only be on if i am around WIFI

You will need to change your APN settings, as this is probably not one of the predefined carriers:

I know on the 3G: (Please some one correct these steps if you know it is different for the 2G)

Click on Settings
Click General
Click Network
Click Cellular Settings

Enter the following information:
data-
apn: wap.gocbw
un:
pass:

mms-
apn: wap.gocbw.com
un:
pass:
mmsc: http://mms.gocbw.com:8088/mms
mms proxy: 216.68.79.202:80 (80 is the port)
mms max message size: 307200
mms ua prof url:



Alternatively you can try clicking here from the iPhone.

Okay so i got the 1st gen iphone from a friend for free. i have used it for a couple days and i love it. so i think i am going to go ahead and get a newer one where i dont ALWAYS have to be around wifi just to get on the internet. i was looking on the apple site at the iphones and i really dont need a huge gb one. so i was just going to get the $99 one on here http://www.apple.com/iphone/buy/ but was wondering if i could get that one unlocked and jailbroken before i actaully went and bought one and couldnt unlock it??

please let me know bc if i can i am going to go to the apple store today!

Just so you know if you didn't already, because I didn't see it mentioned. Its 99 with a new contract. Just the phone itself is going to run you 499 plus tax.

I went on craigslist, there are a ton of ppl who will unlock and jailbreak phones for cost. I txt someoone asking them if they knew what my problem with no internet all the time was. Luckly they lived very close, met up with him and he did it in 2 seconds, free of charge!!!!! Woooo hooo!!!!
