While this might not happen, I think Apple should have stopped using the Air naming and just went with the following:
- iPad SE - 11
- iPad - Mini, 11, 13
- iPad Pro - 11, 13
The Air naming was around when it was lighter than the others and it was a good next step up. But now, the Air naming is meaningless, and the Pro is lighter. Yes, it does follow what the Macbook line does, but in that case the Air is lighter and thinner than the Pro, so it still works there.
