iPod Can Woz Save The iPod Classic?

This doesn't cause any problems with my Classic.

Right?! Made me laugh. Apple even still gives us 2GB for music storage on the new Watch.

The future is the cloud.

A future is the Cloud, not necessarily the only possible future.

I never cease to be amazed at the utter certainty with which people inhabit a binary world view as though the only possible outcome was a choice between this or that, or say, the iPod or the Cloud, or radio or TV…….it is possible to have many different future, all trotting along in parallel to one another.

Nobody needs an iPod Classic anymore. Local storage is dead, iCloud is the future of computing.

Not if you want built in storage; not if you live in the parts of the world where rapid and reliable wifi is not a given; not if you want all of your music in one neat portable device; not if you travel a lot….not if you have doubts about the model of 'ownership' of data that interaction with the Cloud seems to suggest…..

Not if you are trying to listen to music where you can't stream.
