Though not the same thing, as an FYI I am able to run PCVR via an oculus quest via oculus link off my iMac Pro with Vega 64 smooth as silk with all high settings on every game no problem. In Boot Camp.

it also worked reasonably well with my 16 inch MacBook Pro with the 5500M.

it will not work with the new 5600M - it just crashes and reboot.

Can you run Oculus VR on a Mac Pro in bootcamp?

Dear Sirs,
please appreciate if stick with this topic specifically. i really suffer a lot when reading topic. new and new replies comes that leads to something else, while the original topic remains intact and no one address that.
thank you.

I love Apple hardware and Microsoft Software. both the best combination from both worlds.
MacPro E5.
Intel Xeon, 2.7 (12Core)
128GB Ram
AMD FirePro D700 (6gb x 2) graphics cards.
1TB hdd.

i think this is enough to run my Oculus VR. but after installing windows 11 on bootcamp. and updated drivers. all is well. but when install the Oculus software it gives error in loading that

Update Your Graphic Card Driver
You need to update your graphics card driver to use your headset. once you're up to date, please restart Oculus.

while checking in the AMD firePro Control Center, and check for software update.
it is AMD Catalyst Software Suite
15.20.1060-150715a-186304c

( i think its the version of AMD Control Center.) i am unable to update any manually graphic cards drivers. i go to AMD website and download the tool to automatically detects and update drivers. it says there is no hardware found in your computer.

i dont know what to do. please any one can guide me? if this problem is addressed before?

really would be great for your helps.

regards,
John.
