I missed the thread for a couple of hours, everyone seems to be getting it today. Imagine if someone from UPS or Apple reading these and watching us sweating ourselves knowing it will make it and laughing inside. That’s pretty funny. I still haven’t got mine it’s due for later today but happy launch day guys. See y’all next year. But I’ll be picking mine from store that’s for sure lol

Interesting, the delivery window just moved up from 1:15 - 5:15 PM to 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM. It's already 11:15, we're almost there!
Transferring from old iPhone is always the best way to go. If you restore from iCloud backup you’ll have to login to every single app again. (Coming from someone who’s upgrading every single year for the past 15 years)
Edit: use a cable to transfer between the devices. Goes way faster

Unfortunately, it's a 13 Pro and a 16 Pro Max. I don't have a lighting to USB-C, so I can't do a cable transfer.
New 16 Max Pro is currently transferring from old to new phone, rendering accessing stuff like passwords, etc. a little challenging to set up - so make sure you have access to your passwords before you start!

Did anyone ordering from Roger’s initially have a long wait estimate and wind up getting their phone today?
I just ordered a 16 Pro for my gf. Says 4+ weeks wait lol. Also anyone have success getting rogers to waive the ridiculous $25 shipping fee? These guys can’t even give free shipping anymore

Unbelievable. I was waiting on a pink iPhone 16 when suddenly the tracking for the trade-in kit and the phone updated to say "second delivery attempted" and now it's been rescheduled for Monday. I went to the door to see the UPS truck pulling away. No knock, no doorbell ring, nothing.
I just called UPS to try to get them to send the driver back, all they could do was send a "note" to somewhere else and I'm supposed to get a call within an hour.

I wish we could choose the carrier. I would choose "anything but UPS."
I guess I've been lucky - I've had annoyances and issues with others like Purolator and FedEx but UPS has been pretty great for me, never an issue until today.

Same here. My Apple Watch was delivered much earlier than my usual Amazon/Intelcom deliveries. At least I have something to do while I wait for the main event!
Anyone else expecting delivery in Ottawa from UPS? My brother and I ordered ours the same time when preorders opened and we live 15 minutes apart. His says out for delivery, mine says delivery Tuesday. All of the tracking was identical until it reach Ottawa. Latest says its departed Gloucester at 11:49AM but no updates since. Really hoping this is just an error with UPS not updating the latest scans. I figure there are so many iPhone deliveries today. Just hoping somebody else out there has the same thing as me to chat with. Oddly enough as I am typing this my mother got hers from UPS but my brothers didn't come. Such a strange way of rolling out delivery.
