His information in this thread is Null because he is on a Pre paid plan and the OP is on a postpaid. Two COMPLETELY different sides of AT&T.

Maybe the OP should switch to pre-paid. I don't even do the pay-as-you-go... I have the pick-your-plan type. It's just like having a cell phone plan. You choose how many minutes you want per month and you can also have unlimited texts. That's what I do. I can't even tell the difference between what I have and post-paid.

Ive probably worked with a few peoples accounts that are on MR. I used to be a manager with AT&T. Dont get me wrong I'm not against people having an iPhone without a Data plan.. I really DGAF, but im just trying to give some actual information from the other side. Most people on here CLAIM to know whats going on and how to get around it. I know all the tricks but o well, I guess Im just lying.

I simply don't *need* data. Also, I feel better about keeping my iPhone put away. When I had a data plan, I felt like I need to constantly be using my iPhone to get my money's worth out of it...… I don't feel like I'm wasting money when I'm not using it because I'm not spending the money in the first place. It's great.

There you have it. That's my story. Also, I'm not in any stupid contract.

That's how I feel. I go to university, and since I'm at school 9+ months a year, I have access to free, campus-wide wifi. I have an unlocked iPhone on T-Mobile. I used to pay for the data plan. After a few months, I realized that about 85% of the time that I was using the internet on my phone, I could've been using wifi... I then proceeded to cancel my data plan.
