Sorry, I should have been a little more specific with my question. I was looking at the EF-S 60mm f/2.8 macro as well. That goes to your point about not being wide enough.

What I should have asked was, is there any reason that you wouldn't use a 1:1 macro lens as your always-on lens? (I'm trying to decide if I want to sell my 2 month old 28-135mm IS lens.)
