Is anybody else's Notification Center unresponsive when tapping on the "X" to clear notifications? I can still swipe them away individually, so it's not the end of the world. Just curious to see if anybody else is having issues.

It works just fine for me on 6Plus. Have you tried a Reset All Settings? Sometimes that fixes any glitches that may have happened in the course of the update.

I recall someone mentioning that it didn't work for them when notifications were grouped but it worked when they weren't grouped, or vice versa. Sounds like a glitch of some sort.

Same issue on my 5S and a restart temporarily fixes it as stated above.

Try making sure you go through all of them, or restarting your phone. I noticed b1 had quite a few issues with notification center, half the time, the thing wouldn't even work. I couldn't get it to pull down from the top of the screen or through accessibility features.

Very irritating stuff for the busy person who uses their phone constantly!

I've found that when it does this it's usually because I already tapped on one notification for that app and now it won't clear the rest. When the single X to clear all notifications for an app stops responding, you can just clear each notification individually. No need to restart and all that just to fix it. Individually is faster.

Yup. VERY annoying. It's popping up on my iPhone 5s and I have to restart to make it go away.

Seeing that in the final released version of iOS 9? I've seen it on betas, but not in the final, at least not so far (although I did install as new and reset settings, which can sometimes help with various glitches too).

Same problem as well. Have to restart to clear unresponsive notifications.

Since my last post in this thread, I reverted to a clean install of 8.4 (and subsequently updated to 8.4.1) prior to updating to iOS 9 GM and installing the day-one update to the GM. I haven't had the problem at all with the public release of iOS 9. Did either of you update from the beta?

Hi guys.
I've also had the same problem and this solution worked fine for me.
Go to settings, Notifications and on Notifications view select it manually.
As I've said, it worked for me and I can now clear notifications panel.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but I've been having the same issue with notification center not clearing on my 6S, with 9.0.2, and the solution below solved it.
