I had two missed phonecalls that couldn't be removed from NC. I had viewed them in the phone app so they should have disappeared automatically. The crosses didn't work, swiping didn't work. I did a hard reset and they were gone.
Thought this would be a quick way of dealing with stuck notifications, but it didn't quite work out. When I changed to manual it simply made the stuck notifications disappear, but if I changed it back to what it was (which is how I like it) the stuck notifications appeared once again. Only rebooting has done the trick so far.Hi guys.
I've also had the same problem and this solution worked fine for me.
Go to settings, Notifications and on Notifications view select it manually.
As I've said, it worked for me and I can now clear notifications panel.
Screenshot attached.
Is anybody else's Notification Center unresponsive when tapping on the "X" to clear notifications? I can still swipe them away individually, so it's not the end of the world. Just curious to see if anybody else is having issues.

Doesn't really seem solve the issue as much as basically masks it by hiding it in a sense and forcing you to use a grouping that you don't necessarily want (because if you go back to grouping by time the stuck notifications are still there). The only thing that seem to actually work is restarting the device. Here's how to solve the problem: settings>Notifications>turn on group by app.
Restarting doesn't get rid of them?I'm so tired of this bug. I'm running the latest iOS 9 and some select Telegram notifications and Mail notifications won't clear from NC. It doesn't matter what I try. I hate this!!!
Trying this several times actually fixes it for me. Thanks.Hi,
Go to settings > Notifications > and toggle the "Group By App" switch on/off. This should clear the unwanted notifications and keep things working from here on in.
No, it did not. But the trick above solved it.Restarting doesn't get rid of them?
